Kids’ Day/Journée jeunesse happens Saturday November 2 in Paul O’Regan Hall at the Halifax Central Library. This free open-house-style fun fair for kids ages infant to 12 features writers and illustrators working in English and French[1] , with readings in the cozy corner starting at 1pm and lasting throughout the afternoon. Plus, kids get a free stampable passport when they come in the door, and they can visit with each author, get a stamp or sticker or autograph, do a craft or activity, snack on popcorn and lemonade and have a whole ton of fun. Doors are at 12:30 and the readings begin at 1pm. Drop by for five minutes, come and go a few times, or stay all afternoon. Woozles will be on hand with books for sale. You don’t need a ticket to get in, but you can register for free on the AfterWords website and that way you get a reminder email in advance, with all the details. https://afterwordsliteraryfestival.com/product/kids-day-journee-jeunesse/
